The Mental State of the World Report explores the mental wellbeing of the global online population, presenting annual mental health trends, changes from previous years, and the factors influencing these trends, supplemented by Rapid Reports for deeper insights. Mental wellbeing, distinct from happiness or life satisfaction, reflects our mental capacity and resilience against life’s stresses. The level of mental wellbeing is measured using the MHQ assessment. The 2023 report is based on 419,175 responses from 71 countries, offering a comprehensive analysis of global mental wellbeing trends and comparisons.
