Global research agenda on health, migration and displacement: strengthening research and translating research priorities into policy and practice
This publication identifies a global lack of high-quality, policy-relevant research on health, migration, and displacement. It aims to address knowledge gaps to advance global public health objectives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and the WHO Triple Billion Targets. The agenda was developed through a consultative process with over 180 stakeholders worldwide and sets out five key research themes for the next five years. It includes an Implementation Guide and Toolkit for adaptation at various levels and emphasises the need for global research collaborations and the translation of evidence into policy and practice to create inclusive, responsive healthcare systems for migrants, refugees, and displaced populations.
